The Department of Education of Zhejiang Province has recently announced the results of the recognition of joint cultivation bases for postgraduates in Zhejiang Province in 2024. Two postgraduate joint cultivation bases declared by TU, namely “Ecological Environment and Green Governance Postgraduate Joint Cultivation Base of Taizhou University and Taizhou Environmental Science Design and Research Institute Co. Ltd.” and “Toumen Port Postgraduate Joint Cultivation Base of Taizhou University and Taizhou Bay Economic Development Zone”, were recognized as provincial level bases. Up to now there have been three provincial postgraduate joint cultivation bases of TU.
In order to effectively fulfil the requirements of the Ministry of Education on the classified cultivation of postgraduates, TU has placed great importance on the quality of high-quality postgraduate cultivation, and actively promoted the reform of talent cultivation mode by integrating industry with education. Relying on its advantageous disciplines and closely connecting with local governments and local leading enterprises, it has given full play to the advantages of local industries, built practical platforms for talent cultivation, and formed a new mode of collaborative cultivation of talents among the university, governments and enterprises.
In the subsequent phase, TU will utilize the joint cultivation base as a platform to enhance the quality of its professional degree graduate cultivation, thereby producing a greater number of high-caliber talents for the industry and the local community.
