TU held an appointment ceremony on December 31 for visiting professors. Professor Yan Shengmin and Professor Zheng Peiqin from Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, as well as singers Gao Yu and Man Tian from Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre, were appointed as visiting professors. Li Jianjun, Vice President and Member of the CPC TU Committee, attended the ceremony and presented letters of appointment.

At the ceremony, Li Jianjun extended a warm welcome to the four experts and highly praised their outstanding achievements and profound expertise in their respective fields. He emphasized that their joining would not only bring valuable academic resources and practical artistic experience to TU but also deepen collaborations with institutions such as Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre, jointly promoting the prosperity of art education and creation.

The four professors delivered acceptance speeches, expressing their honor to serve as visiting professors at TU. They pledged to share their artistic experiences and insights with faculty and students, explore new pathways for art education and creation, and collaborate closely with the university to cultivate outstanding artistic talents.

Yan Shengmin: Professor, Master’s Supervisor, National First-Class Performer, and Director of the Practical Teaching and Research Office in the Vocal Opera Department at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.
Zheng Peiqin: Professor, Master’s Supervisor, National First-Class Performer, Director of the Vocal Opera Teaching and Research Office at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, former Chief Singer of Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre, member of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), National Youth Federation member, and Vice Chair of the Zhejiang Musicians Association.
Gao Yu: Tenor, National First-Class Performer, Deputy Director of the Vocal Performance Center at Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre, and Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Democratic League Art Troupe.
Man Tian: Baritone, National First-Class Performer, and Director of the Choir at Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre.
