TU’s publicity team enters the rural cultural hall

Leaders from the School of Marxism visited and extended greetings to Mr. Tang Shanfeng, the Cultural Envoy of Taizhou City and a teacher from the School of Marxism on the afternoon of February 10th and organized “Taizhou University Spark” theoretical publicists to visit the cultural hall in Dong’ao Village, Yongquan Town, Linhai City. Teng Xinsheng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, Zhao Sheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Linhai Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department, Zhang Qian, Deputy Secretary of the Yongquan Town Party Committee and Town Chief, Cai Haijiang, Member of the CPC TU Committee and Minister of TU’s Publicity Department, Zhang Tianhua, Dean of the School of Marxism, and Wang Sheng, Secretary of the Party Branch, attended the event.

Talking with publicists

During the meeting for the visit and greetings, leaders talked with Tang Shanfeng. Tang Shanfeng reported on the progress of his work focusing on grassroots theoretical publicity, rural cultural exploration, and the needs of the masses, and set theoretical publicity and volunteer service as his work goals for the next stage. Cai Haijiang encouraged him to leverage the university’s advantages to coordinate cultural resource supply and take root in the countryside to serve the local people well based on his professional expertise.

Unveiling Ceremony

At the evening, Cai Haijiang and others watched the “My Favorite Village Gala” and Yongquan Town Literary and Art Light Cavalry Lantern Festival Performance held in the cultural hall of Dong’ao Village, hosted by the Yongquan Town Party Committee and Government of Linhai City and Linhai News Media Group, and co-hosted by TU’s School of Marxism. They also witnessed the unveiling ceremony of the “Miguquanyin” Theoretical Publicity Studio by Teng Xinsheng and Zhao Sheng. After the ceremony, three teachers from TU’s “Taizhou University Spark” theoretical publicity team, including Ke Lianmin and Tang Shanfeng from the School of Marxism and Cheng Liwei from the School of Humanities, delivered passionate, interesting, culturally rich, and down-to-earth themed speeches titled “Citrus Aroma for Thousands of Years, I Love Yongquan” and “Taizhou, Standing at the Forefront,” among others.
