Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education has recently announced the eighth batch of approved provincial Collaborative Innovation Centers. “High-End Pharmaceutical Full-Chain Intelligent Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center” proposed by TU was successfully selected, marking the university’s first provincial-level collaborative innovation center.

The “High-End Pharmaceutical Full-Chain Intelligent Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center” is led by TU and jointly established with multiple partners, including Peking University’s State Key Laboratory of Natural and Biomimetic Drugs, Fudan University’s School of Pharmacy, Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Taizhou Pollution Prevention and Control Engineering Technology Center, and Zhejiang Chengxin Medical Equipment Co., Ltd.
Professor Han Deman serves as the center’s director. Focusing on the national strategic emerging industry needs of high-end pharmaceutical intelligent manufacturing, the center targets interdisciplinary fields such as modern medicine, intelligent equipment, and health sciences. It aims to collaboratively cultivate high-level applied talents in pharmaceutical manufacturing, enhance full-chain intelligent production capabilities, and support high-quality innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.
TU has prioritized the development of high-level scientific research platforms, aligning with major national strategies and industrial demands. By concentrating on advancing innovation in Zhejiang, fostering new quality productive forces, and addressing cutting-edge technologies and critical fields, the university has promoted platform construction driven by industrial needs, integrating scientific innovation with industrial development. The approval of this provincial Collaborative Innovation Center signifies a new milestone in the university’s capabilities in high-level platform construction and technological innovation.
Moving forward, the “High-End Pharmaceutical Full-Chain Intelligent Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center” will leverage TU as its core hub to organically integrate resources from collaborative partners. Guided by major collaborative innovation tasks and breakthroughs in solving key technical challenges, the center will maximize its platform advantages to drive progress in scientific output, talent cultivation, disciplinary development, and industrial support.
