This project is based on China’s major deployment and decision regarding the establishment of a coordinated governance and environmental risk control system for new pollutants. It means to satisfy the requirements of the new pollutants control, strengthen cooperation with Taizhou’s environmental protection management departments and related enterprises, and conduct in-depth research into the unique industrial advantages of Taizhou.
Focusing on the integrated development of pharmaceutical intermediates, raw materials, and preparations within the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, it aims to jointly develop a refined management system for new pollutants in this industry. The ultimate goal is to create a green development and management model for the pharmaceutical and chemical industry that can be replicated and promoted, assisting Taizhou City in transforming its approach to new pollutants control from end-of-pipe treatment to lifecycle management across the entire industry.
TU has long been committed to deepening cooperation between the university, local governments, and enterprises, promoting the integration of science education and personnel. It has been closely collaborating with Taizhou’s environmental protection management departments and enterprises.
