After the evaluation by the Assessment Office of the Municipal Party Committee and the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee and upon the decision made by the Municipal Party Committee, TU has been awarded the title of a first-class unit in the 2024 municipal comprehensive assessment and an advanced unit in the comprehensive assessment. Meanwhile, the university has been recognized as an advanced collective for focusing on the “Three Paths” and striving for “Three Highs and Three News” in Taizhou City, as well as an advanced collective for “Standing at the Forefront and Striving for Excellence through Practical Work.” The School of Marxism and Chu Lipeng have respectively been named as an advanced collective for “Standing at the Forefront and Striving for Excellence through Practical Work” in Taizhou City, and an advanced individual for focusing on the “Three Paths” and striving for “Three Highs and Three News.”

The year 2025 is the year for the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the planning of the 15th Five-Year Plan. TU will seize the strategic opportunities brought by the strategies of building a strong education country and a strong higher education province. Guided by the spirit of the Fourth Party Congress of the university, the university aims at the goals of “upgrading to a higher-level university, applying for doctoral programs, and striving to be first-class.” TU will adhere to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, deepen reform and innovation, vigorously strengthen the connotation construction, strive to enhance the school-running strength, continuously promote the symbiosis between the university and the city, and make new and greater contributions to writing a new chapter of Taizhou’s demonstration of Chinese-style modernization and common prosperity.
