Yue Chuanyong, President and Deputy Party Secretary of Taizhou University, led a delegation to Huahai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. on April 17 to advance strategic collaboration between the university and the company. The visit focused on integrating educational reform, technological innovation, and high-quality talent development. Han Deman, Vice President of TU, and Guo Sijia, Party Secretary and Executive Vice President of Huahai Pharmaceutical, as well as President of Huahai Technical School, accompanied the delegation.

During the visit, Yue and his delegation toured Huahai’s corporate exhibition hall, technical school, and pharmaceutical technology industrial park. Yue emphasized Huahai’s role as a national leader in the specialty active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) sector, applauding its achievements in advancing China’s pharmaceutical globalization. He highlighted TU’s commitment to its “local, applied, and comprehensive” educational mission, which has driven regional economic growth through vocational-education integration, industry-academia collaboration, and scientific-research partnerships. Yue stated that comprehensive cooperation between the two parties would foster a tripartite synergy of education, technology, and talent, and inject new momentum into local industrial upgrading and economic development.

Guo Sijia welcomed the delegation, noting the longstanding partnership between Huahai and TU. He expressed hopes to leverage Huahai’s industrial strengths and the university’s research and talent resources, particularly in the biopharmaceutical sector. Guo remarked that by deepening collaboration in R&D, commercialization of innovations, and talent cultivation, they aim to better serve Taizhou’s industries and boost local economic growth.

The two parties held in-depth discussions and reached consensus on joint initiatives in technological innovation, talent exchange, and co-development of professionals.
