To enhance academic communication efficiency, the editorial office of Journal of Taizhou University has pioneered a novel approach to scholarly content delivery by launching its first AI digital presenter video for single-article dissemination in Issue 2, 2025. The innovative videos are now available across multiple platforms including China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the journal’s official website, and its WeChat public account.
Produced by the editorial team with active collaboration from contributing authors, these AI-powered presentations employ cutting-edge digital human narration technology to concisely articulate core research findings. Each 3-to-5-minute video combines synthetic voice narration with dynamic visual animations, transforming traditional text-based papers into immersive audiovisual experiences. This “video-first” knowledge service model effectively demystifies complex theoretical content through multimedia interpretation, significantly improving content accessibility and engagement while amplifying research impact.

The implementation of AI digital presenters represents a paradigm shift in academic communication for the journal, following previous innovations like online first publication and enhanced publication models. By integrating artificial intelligence with conventional journal publishing and academic database dissemination, the initiative establishes a multi-dimensional knowledge transmission framework. This technological advancement not only elevates the journal’s service capabilities but also drives its strategic development towards high-quality, next-generation scholarly communication.
