On the event days, the university and its colleges coordinated to present a diverse program with many highlights. A range of activities were held in parallel, creating an atmosphere of warmth, gratitude, and inspiration. At the university level, the “Jialian Shuren Award” presentation ceremony was held, during which alumnus Wang Xiong (Class of 1988), Chairman of Ningbo Jialian Technology Co., Ltd., made a generous donation to honor outstanding teachers and support the university’s continued development in education and teaching.

At the “Books and Alma Mater” alumni book donation ceremony, alumni Wang Han (Class of 1989) and Zhao Zongbiao (Class of 1984) donated newly published books to the university. Wang Han also shared insights from her writing under the theme “Exploring the Extremes of the Earth,” using books as a bridge to express her enduring connection to the university. The “ZBA” alumni salon featured alumni who shared their experiences and inspiring stories from the Zhejiang BA basketball league, encouraging students and fellow alumni with their perseverance and drive.

During the Homecoming Day period, the Second Membership Representative Conference of Taizhou University Zhejiang Alumni Association was convened, completing the transition to a new leadership team. The exhibition “Provincial Sixth Normal School in University History” presented the university’s development and achievements through photos and text. In addition, “Taizhou University Alumni Association” mini-program was officially launched, using digital tools to build a long-term communication bridge between alumni and the university, and among alumni themselves.

Each secondary school and college also organized activities aligned with the overall theme, with programs tailored to disciplinary and professional characteristics. Activities included themed lectures, alumni salons, mentorship and pairing exchanges, showcases of work and achievements, commemorative competitions, and campus and facility tours. While strengthening alumni connections, these activities also highlighted patriotic values and the university’s pioneering spirit. By responding to alumni interests and needs, the schools and colleges enabled returning graduates to learn about the university’s latest developments while revisiting the memories of their student years, thereby building stronger momentum for the university’s continued growth.

The 2025 Alumni Homecoming Day created a platform for emotional reconnection and mutually beneficial cooperation, deepening the bond between alumni and their alma mater. Across campus, alumni, faculty, and students reunited, shared stories of the past, and discussed hopes for the future, filling the university with warmth and lasting emotion.

Building on the tradition of previous homecoming events, this year’s program further consolidated alumni support and injected new momentum into the development of a “Harmonious, Dynamic, Beautiful, and Happy Taizhou University.” It also strengthened the university’s drive to advance its goals of institutional upgrading, doctoral-program development, and progress toward first-class excellence.
