From April 8 to 11, the “Zhejiang Youth · Love Sports” provincial youth fun volleyball tournament, organized by Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau, Zhejiang Provincial Students’ Federation, and Zhejiang Provincial Young Pioneers Committee, concluded at Hangzhou Normal University. More than 850 participants from 64 universities competed. Taizhou University’s team won the championship in Group A. Cai Yuhao and Yu Junjie were named “Outstanding Athletes,” and Gan Runze received the “Outstanding Coach” award. Zhou Suhong, Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Youth League Committee and Director of Zhejiang Provincial Young Pioneers Committee, presented the award to TU athletes.

Intense action on court
Taizhou University Youth League Committee and the University Sports Committee collaborated to select a strong team, coached by Gan Runze, Li Hongqin, Xu Jin, and Dai Zhenzhen from the School of Teacher Education (Physical Education). The team comprised ten students from various majors. On court, TU players showed fearless determination and relentless effort: precise serves, smooth passing, powerful spikes, diving saves, and solid blocks—every move reflected sweat and perseverance, every point demonstrated unity and strength. Off the court, the coaches provided scientific deployment and precise guidance, while the Youth League Committee ensured full logistical support.
