The delegation first toured the “Innovation & Entrepreneurship · Century Weixing” exhibition commemorating the group’s 40th anniversary. During the meeting, President Le stated: “Taizhou University belongs to Taizhou, and Taizhou University thrives with Taizhou.” He emphasized that deepening collaboration with Weixing—a leading private enterprise—in areas such as high-level talent recruitment, national-level award applications, joint talent cultivation, research, and international talent development would not only create mutual benefits but also provide sustained momentum for high-quality local economic development.

Zhang Kapeng welcomed the delegation. He noted that TU, as the only master’s degree-granting institution in Taizhou, has maintained close ties with the group over the years. Many outstanding alumni now hold key positions at Weixing. The existing cooperation foundation across multiple areas provides a solid basis for further collaboration, which will bring resource sharing and mutual benefits, offering strong talent and intellectual support for the enterprise.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on joint talent cultivation, research collaboration, and high-level talent recruitment, reaching consensus on multiple fronts. Representatives from Weixing Group and relevant university departments attended.
