In the evening of June 11, the 9th Taizhou College Students’ Culture and Art Festival, themed “Embracing Beauty, Pursuing Dreams for the Future,” came to a successful close at Taizhou University. Those attending and presenting awards included Chen Haiming, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Taizhou Municipal Education Bureau; Xiang Fengri, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Taizhou University Committee; Jin Sike, member of the Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of Taizhou Vocational and Technical College; Jin Song, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Taizhou Vocational College of Science and Technology; Luo Maomin, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Zhejiang Automobile Vocational and Technical College; Yao Yesheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Taizhou Open University; and Mou Jingyi, Director of the Division of Higher Education and Vocational and Adult Education of the Taizhou Municipal Education Bureau. Also attending the closing ceremony were Youth League Committee leaders, faculty advisors, and award-winning student representatives from universities and colleges across Taizhou.

Hosted by the Taizhou Municipal Education Bureau, the festival comprised four competitions: the Campus Singer Competition, the Photography Competition, the On-site Calligraphy Competition, and the Chinese Classics Recitation Competition. With strong support and concerted efforts from universities and colleges across Taizhou, all four competitions were completed successfully. At the evening gala, students from universities and colleges across the city delivered splendid performances. With youthful passion they radiated the brilliance of the times, fully demonstrating the vigor, sense of mission, and spirit of college students in the new era.

During the award ceremony, leaders took the stage in turn to present awards to winning students, outstanding advisors, and outstanding organizational units. TU faculty and students achieved impressive results, winning 7 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 20 third prizes, and 15 excellence awards. In the Campus Singer Competition, TU students Huang Anqi, Favour Onyeka (Xinyue), and Qiu Yu won first prizes, while Xue Hao, Jesse Stone (Jiexi), and Wu Jiawen took second prizes. In the Photography Competition, Zheng Xiaomeng won a first prize, and Ren Yijing and Zhang Yu won second prizes. In the Calligraphy Competition, Lin Shiyu won a first prize, and Han Yixiao, Pan Zhouxun, and Wang Yiling took second prizes. In the Recitation Competition, Dong Jiachen and Sun Yinmo won first prizes, and Xie Boxuan and Chen Yingyu won second prizes in the individual category, while works such as “Immortal Insomnia,” “That Year, Chinese Youth Were Eighteen,” and “Blooming” won second prizes in the group category. TU faculty members Ding Jingling, Jin Niya, Kong Chunheng, Li Xiaobing, Lin Hai, and Liu Boliang were named Outstanding Advisors, and the University Youth League Committee won the Outstanding Organization Award.
