Le Chuanyong, President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC TU Committee, makes a special trip to TU’s Affiliated School
Le Chuanyong cheers on the exam candidates
The middle school entrance examination kicked off across the province on June 22. Le Chuanyong, TU President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC TU Committee, accompanied by heads of the university’s General Affairs Office and Labor Union, arrived at the affiliated school to boost the morale of the ninth-grade students participating in the middle school entrance examination.
Le Chuanyong, heads of TU’s relevant departments, Li Wenbin, Deputy Director of Jiaojiang District Education Bureau, Chen Zhenlin, Deputy Director of Jiazhi Sub-district Office, and others lined up at the entrance of the affiliated school to greet each candidate as they entered, shaking hands and high-fiving them. Le Chuanyong encouraged the candidates to remain calm, meticulous, and attentive, to perform to the best of their abilities and achieve excellent results.
This year’s middle school entrance examination has marked the second such event since TU and Jiaojiang District began jointly managing the affiliated school. Since taking over the management of the affiliated school, TU’s Party Committee has attached great importance to the high-quality development of the school. Guided by the positioning of a prestigious school and leveraging the unique advantage of being adjacent to a university, excellent management and expert teams have been dispatched to reside at the school. The Party’s leadership of the affiliated school have scientifically planned, precisely implemented policies, tapped potential, and stimulated momentum, significantly improving the school’s education and teaching quality in just two years. A once-weak school has emerged as a dark horse in Jiaojiang’s basic education development, earning widespread and profound social reputation. The affiliated school of TU has become a successful example of a university collaborating with the local government to establish an affiliated school and a model for local universities to contribute to the development of local basic education.
