The 7th TU Staff Soft Volleyball Tournament was held on May 22nd and 24th in Hall 4 and Hall 6 of Jiaojiang Campus, aiming to enrich the campus cultural life, enhance team cohesion, and showcase the vigorous spirit of school staff. Twenty representative teams and over 300 staff members gathered at the stadium to play with fellow players, spreading friendship through competition and gathering strength through fighting.
School of Civil Engineering and Architecture wins the first place
This competition adopts a 5-person mixed competition system. After fierce competition, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture won the championship, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing (Aeronautical Engineering) won the second place, and the Library, Central Hospital, School of Teacher Education (Physical Education), School of Electronics & Information Engineering (Big Data Science), Retired Representative Team, and Administration Team One ranked third to eighth respectively.

The players of each representative team worked in perfect cooperation. With agile postures, the transitions between offense and defense on the court were spectacular. Every jump to hit the ball embodied tacit cooperation, and every fish jump to retrieve a ball showed tenacious fighting spirit. On the sports field, the cheers echoed one after another, fully demonstrating the spirit of unity and cooperation among the staff, as well as their upward momentum in sports.

The highly anticipated final has pushed the competition to a climax. On the field, the defense of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture was particularly outstanding, with three team members working together to block the opponent’s attack like an iron wall, winning rounds of applause. The School of Intelligent Manufacturing (Aeronautical Engineering) firmly kept the score with a rapid “triple tie.” Scores were neck-and-neck, with applause and cheers lingering outside the field. In the end, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture won the championship with their steady performance and tacit cooperation.
The soft volleyball tournament is not only a carrier for exercising physical fitness and enhancing friendship, but also a vivid practice for promoting the fighting spirit and consolidating team strength.
