Taizhou University was approved as a Provincial Continuing Education Base for Professional Technicians in Zhejiang Province as indicated in the “Notice on Publishing the List of Newly Established Provincial Continuing Education Bases for Professional Technicians” (Zhe Ren She Han [2025] No. 65) issued by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.
Taizhou University mainly focuses on digital technology. This marks a breakthrough for the university in terms of provincial platforms in the field of continuing education. It lays a solid foundation for the cultivation of high-level professional technicians in the region and supports the construction of “Digital Taizhou.”
The university will seize this opportunity, focus on Taizhou’s emerging industries, further integrate resources, optimize mechanisms, and leverage the resource advantages of its comprehensive disciplines and specialties. It will strive to build the base into a distinctive continuing education base for professional technicians that integrates university, local resources, industry, and education. It means to serve as a “gas station” for knowledge renewal, a “booster” for capability enhancement, and an “intellectual source” for industrial development for professional technical talents in the region.
