He fully affirmed the achievements made by our university’s association under the leadership of the first committee. He expressed his hope that, under the guidance of the university CPC Party committee and its new leaders, the association would concentrate on three priorities. He hoped it would focus on “uniting hearts” by strengthening ideological guidance, expanding its outreach, and cultivating patriotism to build the broadest unity among overseas Chinese. He also hoped it would focus on “enhancing capabilities” by improving how it operates, serves its members, and communicates, thereby building a solid capacity to support development. Finally, he hoped it would focus on “serving development” by demonstrating its role in advancing the university, supporting Taizhou’s modernization, and promoting a harmonious society. He stated that the Municipal Federation would continue to care for and support the construction and development of the TU Association.
Ding Yizhi, on behalf of the university Party committee, congratulated the successful leadership election and the new committee, and expressed sincere gratitude to the Taizhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese for its long-term care and support. In his speech, Ding spoke highly of the hard work and contributions made by the first committee and all members toward the university’s development. Looking ahead, he expressed his hope that the new leadership would further strengthen the association’s internal development and pool resources to build bridges. He also urged them to leverage their unique advantages and integrate fully into the university’s overall development, thereby making greater contributions to its reform and progress. Finally, he affirmed the university Party committee’s recognition of the vital role played by overseas-educated returnees. He stated that the committee would enhance its care and guidance, striving to create favorable conditions and provide solid support for the association’s work.
