In the 2025 Zhejiang Provincial University Ideo-political Micro-Lesson Competition final, jointly hosted by the Provincial Communist Youth League Committee, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Students’ Federation concluded recently, two Taizhou University students, Lin Hangjun, a student from the School of Humanities, won the second prize, and Zhang Yue, a student from the School of Foreign Languages, won the third prize. A total of 610 contestants from 107 universities registered for the competition.
Lin Hangjun, with the title “Three Medals Reflecting Original Aspiration—China’s Answers Indicated in the ‘Two Mountains’ Theory,” on the 20th anniversary of the “Two Mountains” theory proposal, used three “Champions of the Earth” medals as a starting point to decode China’s ecological governance wisdom. The “digital revolution” in bamboo forest carbon sinks showcased the Chinese wisdom of transforming “lucid waters and lush mountains” into “invaluable assets” empowered by technology. Ant Forest demonstrated the socialist ecological civilization concept of “all participate, everyone shares.” “Blue Cycle” demonstrated a sustainable development path of integrated land-sea planning.
Zhang Yue, with the title “‘Red’ Heart Orange,” focused on the “Red Boat Spirit,” highlighting the ecological transformation, technological breakthrough, and brand rise of the Huangyan honey orange industry. Through real stories of three strivers, Peng Huaming, Wang Lihong, and Peng Detong, she showcased the vivid practice of the “Red Boat Spirit” driving rural revitalization, interpreting the connotation of the “Red Boat Spirit”— “daring to be the first, indomitable, and establishing the Party for the public,” achieving excellent results in this competition.

Taizhou University Youth League Committee will continue to leverage educational resources such as ideo-political micro-lessons and the youth publicity group. The goal is to strengthen the dissemination of the Party’s innovative theories and enhance the ideological and political guidance for our league members and youth. To this end, we will enrich the content of youth ideological and political courses while promoting positive stories and energy.
