2025 Taizhou University Faculty &Staff Table Tennis Team Competition, organized by the University Labor Union and hosted by the School of Teacher Education (Physical Education) and the University Table Tennis Association, was held at the Table Tennis Hall of the Linhai Campus on November 8. A total of 19 teams from across the university, comprising nearly 200 participants, attended this table tennis feast.
After a day’s intense competition, the list of the top eight teams was announced: the Retired Faculty &Staff Team claimed the championship, the Administrative Team I secured the runner-up position, and the School of Foreign Languages Team earned third place. The teams ranking fourth to eighth, in order, were: the School of Artificial Intelligence, the Administrative Team II, the School of Humanities, the Library, and the School of Architectural Engineering.

The competition adopted a mixed team format, featuring events such as men’s singles, women’s singles, mixed doubles, and men’s doubles, testing not only individual skills but also emphasizing team strategy and collaborative spirit. On the court, players showcased their strengths with a dazzling array of techniques, including forehand and backhand drives, smashes, and spin shots. Off the court, cheers and encouragement resonated continuously, creating an enthusiastic and harmonious atmosphere.
Adhering to the principle of “friendship first, competition second,” each team demonstrated high standards and showcased their morale, fully displaying the vitality and passion of TU’s faculty and staff as well as their strong team cohesion and combat effectiveness.

Competition Venue
The annual faculty and staff table tennis competition has become a highly popular sports event at TU. The University Labor Union will continue to organize diverse cultural and sports activities to foster a vibrant, healthy, happy, and harmonious campus atmosphere.
