The final of the 2025 Taizhou University Host Competition, themed “Unique in Language, Dynamic in Voice” was held on November 22 at the Student Activity Center of the Linhai Campus. Jin Niya, Associate Professor of the School of Humanities, and teachers from Taizhou University Youth League Committee served as judges. The event was organized by the University Youth League Committee.

Highlights of the Competition
After intense competition in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, 12 contestants from various colleges advanced to the final stage for a peak showdown. The final featured a compact schedule with escalating challenges, comprising four segments: talent showcase, partner hosting, individual hosting, and impromptu speech.
The competition commenced with the talent showcase, where each contestant presented a unique self-introduction—some with heartfelt sincerity, others with humor and wit—quickly igniting the atmosphere of the venue. In the partner hosting segment, contestants collaborated on topics ranging from current affairs and youth aspirations to campus issues, natural landscapes, and intangible cultural heritage. Their delivery was fluent, and their teamwork seamless.
During the individual hosting segment, the contestants demonstrated creativity and personal style through diverse themes. Presentations included explorations of the enduring legacy of the Dunhuang Mogao Caves, the cultural journey in “Sharing the World with ‘Etiquette’,” the humanistic charm of “Listening to ‘Jia’ Words, Slowly Exploring ‘Jia’ Landscapes,” and the warm companionship depicted in “With You Along the Way, Shining Together.” These performances fully showcased the contestants’ strong hosting abilities. In the impromptu speech segment, contestants drew topics on the spot and delivered speeches around keywords, engaging with subjects such as the clash between ideals and reality or the integration of technology and humanities, thereby demonstrating solid language skills and quick thinking.
