Club Culture Festival closed successfully

On the afternoon of December 14, the closing ceremony of the Club Culture Festival themed “A Spectacle of Clubs, A Gathering of Youth” was held at Zhishan Square on Jiaojiang Campus. Pan Yao, Secretary of the School Youth League Committee, together with Secretaries of the Youth League Committees of all secondary colleges, attended the event and served as judges. More than 500 students were present to watch the performances.

Performance: Soaring Dragon and Leaping Lion

The closing ceremony brought together brilliant performances by various clubs. Through a rich and diverse array of programs and interactive sessions, it vividly demonstrated the vigor and vitality of campus culture, winning wide acclaim from teachers and students present.

The Dragon and Lion Dance Association opened the event with a magnificent performance Soaring Dragon and Leaping Lion, which quickly ignited the audience. The Refined Recitation Club presented the recitation Mountains and Rivers Will Never Forget, a sincere and forceful piece that conveyed profound love for the country. The Falling Sakura Anime Club creatively integrated otaku dance with WOTA art, showing the dynamism and creativity of youth through their performance Raise the Flag and Beat the Drums.

Later, Zhu Xinyi and Yu Kaixin delivered a heartfelt performance of the song A Little Happiness, whose warm melody struck a chord with the audience. The Law Society presented a short comic sketch Night at “Stealing” Warts to address campus food delivery safety and promote the construction of a “Safe Campus”. Blending humor with critical thinking, the performance struck a perfect balance between poise and expressiveness. The Latin Dance Association brought Show You to the stage, full of brisk rhythms and vibrant energy. Qiufeng Hongyan Drama Club performed the Yue Opera excerpt Chen Sanliang: Rebuking the Court, showing the unique charm of traditional opera art. The Nursing Association conveyed delicate and warm emotional power through the song of Waiting for the Next Dawn. Immediately following, the TY Street Dance Club ignited the audience once again with their dynamic performance of Beat It. The Martial Arts Club presented Wind and Cloud; Gathering of Heroes, which combined rigor with flexibility and boasted a majestic momentum. The Western Region Soul Club brought the vibrant ethnic flavor with their performance A Lark Flying into the Military Camp. Finally, the Art Department brought the entire show to a satisfying close with their dance One More Time.

Award Presentation

At the closing ceremony, awards were presented to the star-rated clubs and winning programs. Qiufeng Hongyan Drama Club, Nursing Association and Refined Recitation Club were awarded the honorary title of “Five-Star Clubs” for the 2024-2025 academic year. Six clubs including the Human Nature Association were named “Four-Star Clubs”, and nine clubs including the Finance Society were conferred the title of “Three-Star Clubs”. The Yue Opera excerpt Chen Sanliang: Rebuking the Court and the singing and dancing performance A Lark Flying into the Military Camp won the First Prize at the Club Culture Festival for their outstanding performances. The event concluded successfully with a group photo taken by all the participants.

Since the opening of the Club Culture Festival in October, various clubs across the two campuses have showcased their distinctive features. More than 20 events, including classic recitation contests, safety knowledge quizzes, photography competitions and basketball games, have provided students with a broad stage to demonstrate their talents and inspire their youthful spirit. These activities have played an important role in enriching campus culture, promoting the all-round development of students and fostering a dynamic atmosphere at Taizhou University.
