On the afternoon of December 27, the crucial second round match of Group B for 2025 Taizhou Football League & Taizhou Qualifiers for Zhejiang Urban Football League was held on Linhai Campus of our university. Li Jianjun, Vice President, Member of the University Party Committee and Director of the University Sports Commission, attended the event. Shi Anquan, Deputy Director of the Linhai Campus Management Committee, and Qin Yude, Vice Dean of the College of Teacher Education (Physical Education), were also invited to participate in the opening ceremony. In the end, the host team Linhai defeated Tiantai team with a score of 6:0, demonstrating strong competitiveness.

Competition Venue
The match kicked off with a dragon dance performance and a solemn flag-raising ceremony. It was divided into two halves, each lasting 50 minutes. In the first half, the Linhai team found their rhythm fast, scored the first goal through smooth coordination and aggressive offense, and maintained control of the game’s tempo. By the end of the first half, they had built a 3-0 leading advantage.

Latin Dance Performance
During the half-time, the cheerleading squad and sports dance team of Taizhou University delivered spectacular performances, which further ignited the atmosphere. In the second half, the two teams switched ends and resumed the match. The Linhai team maintained their offensive momentum and scored three more goals through teamwork, ultimately locking the score at 6:0 and claiming victory in this round.

After the match, players from both teams joined hands to greet the audience, earning enthusiastic applause and cheers. The match not only showcased the players’ outstanding technical and tactical skills as well as their competitive spirit, but also demonstrated TU’s comprehensive strength in football education, event organization, and campus sports culture.
