Visiting Zhejiang Sunpro
At the beginning of the event, under the guidance and explanation of Wang Huijun, the attendees jointly visited the production and manufacturing workshop of Zhejiang Sunpro Power Technology Co., Ltd., gaining insights into the company’s status and technological innovation achievements.
During the ceremony, Chen Hao delivered a welcome speech in which he fully acknowledged the contributions of both the Key Laboratory and Zhejiang Sunpro. He then outlined four key requirements for the laboratory’s future development. First, it is essential to closely follow the frontiers of science and technology while serving the national overall strategy. The laboratory should consistently align with international research frontiers, respond to major national strategic needs, and pursue original, leading-edge research aimed at achieving breakthroughs in core technologies. Second, openness and cooperation must be deepened to better integrate innovation resources. This involves strengthening collaboration with domestic and international universities, research institutions, and enterprises to build an open and shared research ecosystem, attract top-tier talent, pool innovation resources, and forge a strong collective force for joint breakthroughs. Third, the laboratory should strengthen its application orientation to accelerate the implementation of research outcomes. It is important to focus on the seamless integration of fundamental research and practical applications, expedite the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and thereby support high-quality regional economic and social development. Fourth, the platform’s capacity should be enhanced to set benchmarks for innovation. The provincial key laboratory should continue to be reinforced and developed into a hub for innovation, a gathering place for talent, and a highland for achievement transformation in the field of island green energy and new materials. These efforts will contribute to Taizhou’s goal of building a “Manufacturing Capital,” facilitate high-quality development, and make new and greater contributions to the province’s green and low-carbon transformation.
Following the speech, the unveiling ceremonies for the co-construction units of the provincial key laboratory and the joint research and development center were held successively in a warm and congenial atmosphere.
After listening to the detailed report on the current construction progress and development plans of the key laboratory, Chen Hao acknowledged the phased achievements attained and put forward clear requirements for the next steps. He emphasized that the laboratory should adopt a rigorous and pragmatic approach, aligning with construction tasks and assessment indicators. It should systematically review, identify gaps, fill deficiencies, and solidify foundations, comprehensively and meticulously preparing for the interim inspection by provincial authorities. This ensures that the evaluation is passed smoothly with excellent construction outcomes and a clear development blueprint, laying a solid foundation for subsequent higher-level development.
