Professor Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Taizhou University Committee, has obtained a doctoral degree in science from Peking University and a doctoral degree in management from Zhejiang University, and completed his postdoctoral research in the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Before his career in Taizhou University, Professor Cui once served as the Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Vice Mayor of Huzhou City of Zhejiang Province, member of the Standing Committee of Huzhou Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of Party Working Committee of Management Committee of South Taihu Lake Industrial Cluster, and head of the United Front Work Department of Huzhou Municipal Party Committee. Specializing in tourism economy, mesoeconomics, administrative management and political science, Professor Cui is a renowned expert in tourism planning and management in China, who has acted as the Principal Investigator or a key participant in many projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial projects, authored over 100 articles on prestigious academic journals and published 4 books. He also won 7 awards including Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, Science and Technology Progress Award of Shandong Provincial Education Commission, Shandong Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievement Award, and Excellent Achievement Award of United Front Theory and Policy Research of Zhejiang Province. Currently, Professor Cui, member of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, also works as the guest professor and postgraduate supervisor in universities like Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Gongshang University and Shandong Normal University.
