University President Le Chuanyong lectures on applying for national social science projects

Le Chuanyong, President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC TU Committee, gave a lecture entitled “Topic Selecting and Writing Skills for National Social Science Projects” at the invitation of the School of Teacher Education (Physical Education) in the afternoon of September 2. Zhang Fuwei, Dean of the School of Teacher Education (Physical Education), presided over the event. Teachers at the School listened to the lecture.

President Le put forward five key aspects in declaring national social science projects: the declaration’s value and role, the categories and requirements of the projects, writing skills and methods, expert evaluation focus points, and strategies to improve the success rate. He emphasized that declaring national social science projects is a crucial path for teachers, particularly young ones, to accelerate their career development. Crafting a well-written project declaration is a fundamental quality of a capable scholar. President Le urged teachers to establish their personal development goals promptly, actively pursue project declarations, plan and deploy early, and integrate learning with research.

This lecture was not only a class for sharing personal experiences, but also a wonderful career planning class. The participating teachers said that they would further strengthen the planning of project declaration, better polish the project declaration materials, and strive to achieve a new leap in their career.
