On November 20, the School of Marxism hosted the 10th session of the “Hehe Ideo-political Academic Salon,” featuring a lecture by Professor Su Yujuan from the Shanxi Provincial Party School of the CPC. Her presentation, titled “Cultivating Six Correct Perspectives to Enhance High-Quality Paper Writing,” was presided over by Dean Zhang Tianhua and attended by faculty members.

Drawing on her extensive research experience, Professor Su outlined six critical perspectives for improving academic writing, namely the problem perspective of identifying correct research questions, the structure perspective of crafting scientific and logical structures, the temporal and spatial perspective of maintaining relevance to current times, the linguistic perspective of writing with precision and depth, the academic perspective of adhering to rigorous academic standards, and the logical perspective of ensuring coherence and clarity. Through a wealth of examples, she dissected the structural elements of high-level academic papers, offering practical advice to attendees.
Following her lecture, Professor Su engaged in a lively discussion with attendees, addressing their questions with thorough and detailed explanations. Participants praised the session as highly enlightening. Professor Yuan Jie, a leading scholar from the School of Marxism of TU, summarized the session, commending Prof. Su’s content for its richness, rigor, and clarity.
