Artificial Intelligence Big Model Technology Forum, hosted by the School of Electronics and Information Engineering of TU, was successfully held in Taizhou from November 30th to December 1st. Eight renowned domestic experts and scholars from all over the country were invited to the forum to discuss the latest developments and future trends in AI big model technology. Key teachers and students also participated in the forum.
Artificial Intelligence Big Model Technology Forum
Chaired by Zhang Shiqing, Dean of the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, the forum was attended by experts, including Tian Qi (Academician of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences and Chief Scientist of Huawei Terminal BG), Xu Changsheng (Winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, National High-Level Talent, Researcher of Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences), Liang Ronghua (National High-Level Talent and Vice President of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology), Gao Yunjun (Winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Professor of Zhejiang University), Li Xi (Winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Qiushi Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University), Wang Yaowei (National High-Level Talent and Researcher of Pengcheng Laboratory), Bao Bingkun (Winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and Professor of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications), and Zhang Shiliang (National High-Level Young Talent and Associate Professor of Peking University).
At the forum, the experts made wonderful reports on their respective research fields. Academician Tian introduced the latest research on the creation and reconstruction of 3D/4D content for sparse data, demonstrating how to create high-quality 3D/4D content from sparse data. Researcher Xu conducted in-depth discussions on the study of relationship learning in understanding videos and proposed a new approach to design effective relationship learning methods. Professor Bao shared the research progress of cross-modal image generation and discussed how to improve the generation quality and ensure the speed of pre-trained GAN models.
In the Panel session, the experts discussed the latest progress and practical applications of AI big model technology, and pointed out the future development direction.
In addition, the experts also had in-depth exchanges and discussions on discipline development, university program development, local service, and talent application. They indicated that they would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and jointly promote the disciplinary iteration and industrial upgrading in the field of AI. The forum not only provided participants with an interactive exchange platform to know the latest academic and industrial application trends, but also further promoted the exchange and cooperation in the field of AI large model technology.
