Vice President and Party Committee Member Li Jianjun delivers a report at Zhejiang Educational Evaluation Reform Symposium

On December 20th, Zhejiang Undergraduate Educational Evaluation Reform Symposium and the Establishment Conference of Undergraduate Educational Evaluation Reform Alliance were held at Zhejiang Normal University. Li Jianjun, Vice President and Member of the CPC TU Standing Committee attended the meeting and delivered a report titled “Focusing on Key Areas and Key Links to Deepen Educational Evaluation Reform” at the conference.

The conference aimed to study and implement the spirit of “Overall Plan for Deepening Educational Evaluation Reform in the New Era” and “Implementation Plan for Deepening Educational Evaluation Reform in the New Era in Zhejiang Province, summarize and exchange the experience in the process of educational evaluation reform, explore the mechanism for coordinated development, and construct an educational evaluation system that not only conforms to the laws of educational development and talent growth, but also has the characteristics of the times.

Li pointed out in the report that actively responding to the educational evaluation reform in the new era, TU adheres to the four development strategies of cultivating students with morality, developing the university with leading disciplines, strengthening the university with talents, and promoting the coexistence of the university and the city. We are committed to building a “university that cares students most.” The university has focused on key areas and key links such as classroom teaching, practical education, professional title evaluation and appointment and physical education course teaching, emphasized the effective role of evaluation as the “baton” in positive guiding, and continuously deepened the reform of educational evaluation in the new era.

The report showcased our achievements and experience in educational evaluation reform, which has been widely recognized by the participants. The active exploration and practice can provide a reference for Zhejiang Province and also the whole country. The convening of the conference can provide a new platform and development direction for further promoting educational evaluation reform.
