It was approved as the key cultural innovation team of Taizhou City in 2019. Of its members, 3 are professors, 7 are associate professors, 9 are doctoral degree holders. Its studies cover such disciplines as history of Communist Party of China, adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, ideological and political education and other related disciplines. The team has absorbed some researchers from relevant institutions of Taizhou and invited a number of domestic well-known experts to serve as primary experts or advisors. The team is committed to digging deeper into the historical code, essential connotation, and contemporary value of Dachen Island Reclamation Spirit.Through the interpretation of “building up spiritual standards with reclamation spirit”, the team continuously amplifies the brightness of reclamation spirit in the Chinese spiritual spectrum so as to provide spiritual resources for Taizhou to build a shining and charming "window" in Zhejiang. Since its approval, its team members have successfully declared more than 10 projects at several levels, such as the National Social Science Fund, Zhejiang Cultural Research Project, Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project, and Taizhou Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project, and so forth.
