The team belongs to the Zhejiang first-class discipline of ecology. It carries out scientific research and talent training relying on the Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Plant Evolutionary Ecology and Conservation. In 2018, it was selected as Zhejiang High-level Innovation Team of Higher Education Institutions (1st batch). There are more than 20 scientific researchers in the team, of whom, 2 are class B professors, 2 are listed in Leading Sci-tech Talent of Zhejiang “10000-talent Plan”, 2 are listed in “Zhejiang 151 Talent Project”(Level 1 and 2), 3 are Zhejiang young and middle-aged discipline leaders, 1 is listed in “MOE New Century Outstanding Talents”, 2 are listed in “Taizhou 500 Top Talents”.Team members have led more than 20 national natural projects (including 2 national key R&D projects) and 10 provincial and ministerial projects (including 1 provincial key R&D project). They have published more than 300 papers in SCI journals including Nature, PNAS, Nature Communications, Ecology, and Plant and Soil.
