Small Molecule Drugs Research Team was listed as Zhejiang Leading Innovation Team in 2019. At present, there are 20 researchers in the team, including 6 professors. The research interests of the team leader and core members are all related to organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, drug molecular design, and so on. Of the team members, 1 is listed in “MOE New Century Outstanding Talents Supporting Project”, 1 is listed in “Shanghai Pujiang Talent”, 2 are titled Chair Professor of “Qianjiang Scholar”, 2 are listed in “Zhejiang 151 Talent Project (Level 1)”, 1 is listed in “Zhejiang 151 Talent Project (Level 3)”. The team enjoys an area of more than 800 square meters for research work and about 10 million Yuan RMB for team building.The team is currently under construction. It will focus on the construction, optimization, and modification of drug molecules containing Sulfonyl fragments and spiro-indolones. It will actively carry out the modification and optimization of drug molecules so as to provide a good innovation platform for small molecule drug research, team building, and talent training.
