With the improvement of the subject ranking of the Influence Index (CI) of Journal of Taizhou University, the journal recently signed an agreement of online premiere with China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI), the commonly-used database of journals published in China, on the basis of obtaining the publishing right of “network launch”.

Online premiere means that the final paper will be published online first, and the first publication right of the papers is confirmed according to the publication URL and release time, after which the paper is printed and published. Excellent papers that have been reviewed and accepted by the editorial department do not need to wait for the compilation and typesetting of paper journals. Instead, they can be published in China Academic Journals (Online Edition) (CAJ-N) on a priority basis in the form of a single article. The paper can be searched and downloaded from CNKI full-text database from the date of web launch. The first published paper has the same validity as the paper version.

The opening of online premiere can markedly shorten the publication time lag of the paper, guarantee the first publication demand of the contributing authors, and improve the timeliness of the paper while increasing the dissemination rate at the same time. The adoption of this method can further accelerate the transformation of academic research results.

At present, the Journal has realized the online premiere of 5 papers of 2 groups of columns on CNKI. In the next stage, the Journal will continue to explore new publishing modes such as network priority publishing, with a view to attracting more high-quality manuscripts, improving its own service capacity while upgrading the level of journal running, and endeavoring to expand the influence of the Journal and the university.
