From May 16th to 20th, the Zhejiang Provicial College Students’ Martial Arts Championship was held in the gymnasium of Wenzhou Medical University. The TU martial arts team participated in this tournament under the leadership of Qin Yude, vice dean of the School of Teacher Education (Physical Education), team manager Shen Jianmin, and coaches Fan Kun, Zhang Bo, Chen Qin, and Wang Yinghui.

With superb skills and tenacious fighting spirit, the TU martial arts team has made outstanding achievements in the competition, garnering a total of 2 golds, 5 silvers, and 2 bronzes. It also won the third place of the Men’s Team Competition, the third place of Women’s Team Competition, and the “Moral and Ethical Award”. The wonderful performance of the team demonstrates the spirit of TU students who fight hard and never give up, and inherits the excellent culture of the TU traditional national sports of “advocating martial virtues and pursuing excellence”.

The TU teaching team of traditional national sports will promote more students to devote themselves to the cause of martial arts, achieving more honors for the university and society, and making contributions to the inheritance and promotion of the Chinese martial arts.
